AKA Skip and Go Naked (or a Vodka Shandy)
Yipee - it is just about May! California is still sheltering though. Our governor has thoughtfully provided us with a list of activities we are allowed to do as the weather turns warm and summer-like, including, yes, climbing trees. Here is a summer cocktail from my friend Laura. It is easy to make and is perfect on a warm, almost-summer, sheltering night. Will be great for when we are back on the beach at Tahoe too. And a fun option (for when we are back in large groups) is to make a batch of it (see below).

Ingredients
2 oz vodka (Tito's is a nice choice)
1/2 cup lemonade
Ice
1 beer chilled (a light beer is best)
Lemon wedge to garnish
Preparation
In a shaker, add vodka and lemonade and ice
Shake until well-chilled
Strain into a tall glass with ice
Add beer to top off - about a 1/2 cup
Garnish with a lemon wedge and serve immediately
Batch Alternative
6 cans light beer
1 can frozen lemonade concentrate
1 1/2 cups vodka
ice
lemon wedges
