November Centerpieces - Pumpkin Fun!

November is Here

It is November and the mountains are calling! The seasons have changed and winter is arriving! It is time to dust out the October cobwebs (real and faux!) at your ski house and get ready for the next six months of fun! That big holiday season is approaching center stage and red coffee cups are about to explode on the scene.

But. Wait.

Don’t skip over the glorious month of November. It is a time to celebrate velvet browns and ambers. And I am not talking about pumpkin lattes and #grateful. Enjoy the beauty of the month! Don’t be too quick to throw those pumpkins out! They are still glorious and quite in-fashion. And they are great to add into your Thanksgiving decorations!

If you are from the east coast like I am, the fall is not the fall without the pumpkins and mums on the doorstep. Keep those mums around as long as you can! In the mountains out west, the first real blanket of snow has arrived. If your temps have already sunk, consider adding some grasses and ornamental kale or cabbage to your planters - something that can withstand the cold.

I like to decorate my table in hues of golden orange, dark green and a variety of browns. Spread small pumpkins around a pretty cinderella pumpkin. Here I have added some magnolia leaves and other bright leaves from my yard. Add in some seeded eucalyptus too. Easy peasy!

Now we are all decorated. Fall cocktails coming soon!
