What to Watch Today: Graduation Celebrations Online
It is so great to see so many people reaching out to our graduates this spring. College grads down to PreK grads are receiving some of the best commencement speeches online - and this weekend there is lots to watch!
Nothing can replace the live event… hearing your name, walking up to the podium in front of all of your friends and family, shaking hands and receiving your scroll. I remember my high school graduation. It was a warm day in June. I was wearing a white Laura Ashley dress (my school does not wear gowns). My whole family was there and my dad was just beaming. The boys all lit up cigars after the event (another school tradition). It is a blur of a memory - but nonetheless, a memory, one I have that I know graduates today will not have.
So these online options are fun and worth tuning into for inspiration and the creation of a different kind of virtual gradation memory.
